The Maharana Mewar Special Library in the City Palace, Udaipur, houses some very interesting books on Rolls-Royce motor cars. This book collection includes both old and new books, with some dating as far back as 1912.
The collection comprises of books like The Edwardian Rolls-Royce, The Rolls-Royce Motor Car, Fifty Years of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club, Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club Yearbooks, The Automobiles of the Maharajas, The Maharajas & Their Magnificent Motor Cars, The Rolls-Royce Twenty, Rolls-Royce: The Derby Cars and Motoring with the Maharajas.
The library also has books on maintenance and use of Rolls-Royce cars like Phantom II Handbook Instructions for the care of Rolls-Royce Cars, which was published in 1912.
There are also books like Catalogue of Parts 20 HP Chassis, The Rolls-Royce School of Instruction, Instructions For The Care & Running of The 20 HP Rolls-Royce Car, Instructions For The Care & Running of The 20/25 HP Rolls-Royce Car, and along with all these are various Rolls-Royce Instruction leaflets, all properly labelled
and marked for easy reference.
